Unity
Currently there are over 20 different Christian denominations represented within the membership of the CBA. The CBA has been in existence for over nine years and our denominational differences do not interfere with our goal to be committed sold out believers and our goal to be more effective as witnesses in the marketplace. In great revivals of the past there typically has been a common denominator which was unity among Christian leaders and lay people of different denominations. Unity is essential. Read what Jesus had to say about unity.

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, [21] that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
[22] I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: [23] I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. John 17:20-23 (NIV)
Differences of opinion are inevitable among human personalities and certainly among the denominations, but spiritual unity is essential, loyalty, commitment, and love for God and his Word and for a commitment to fulfill the Great Commission. Without spiritual unity among the different body of believers we are not responding to Christ's prayer that we would be “brought to complete unity.
