Yuba-Sutter Christian Business Alliance was founded by Jared Nunes and David Kugelman in November of 1997. The CBA was founded out of a heart to encourage or challenge Christians out of ineffective lukewarm Christianity. One of the greatest hindrances to advancing the Kingdom of God does not necessarily come from atheists or agnostics. It comes from Christians living compromising Christian lives which destroys credibility in the minds of non-believers. For many Christians, their Christianity was only evident on Sundays when they went to church. Others would only be aware of their faith in Christ if they actually saw them coming out of church on a Sunday morning. For me (David Kugelman) I fell into that category. I began to realize that there is no victory living a lukewarm Christian life. God convicted me with the verse: I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! Lukewarm Christians will never impact the world for Jesus Christ. Approximately 80% of Americans claim to be Christians. Need I say more? And if you re-read the afore mentioned verse, you will realize that Jesus is rejecting the half-hearted follower.
