Thursday, May 1 was the National Day of Prayer. Over 200 people attended the Prayer Breakfast at the South Side Community Center sponsored by the Oroville Christian Business Alliance. The keynote speaker was Charles Crismier from "Save America Ministries" in Virginia. Charles has written several books and is host of a National Christian, daily radio program. Charles challenged us as believers to reject the tolerance of this age. Dressed in black and white, he reminded us that the moral issues facing America are black and white. Joe Crook Jr. from Palermo Church of God spoke representing the U.S. military. Joe recently re-enlisted and will be leaving for Ft. Benning Infantry school this month. Interns from the Father's House rehabilitation program volunteered with serving and prayer. Businesses from all over Oroville supported the event by buying tables. What a blessing to see the Oroville Christian Community come together to lift up our nation in prayer!
