Our Origin

The Christian Business Alliance was founded by Jared Nunes and David Kugelman in November of 1997. The CBA was founded out of a heart to encourage or challenge Christians out of ineffective lukewarm Christianity. One of the greatest hindrances to advancing the Kingdom of God does not necessarily come from atheists or agnostics. It comes from Christians living compromising Christian lives which destroys credibility in the minds of non-believers.

We meet to encourage Christians to come out of the closet with their faith and be a solid sold out witness for Jesus Christ. We are to represent Jesus Christ to the unbelieving world with a strong desire to be an influence, leading others into a right relationship with Him. As Christians, we believe that Jesus is the only path to heaven and we have a responsibility to spread that message. What better place to share the Gospel than in the marketplace. We spend most of our waking moments in the marketplace so we (Christians) realize the potential we have in introducing others to Jesus Christ.

There are over 50 current members consisting of men and women, who are business managers, business owners, employees, retired, homemakers etc.

Our Mission statement is “Building Up Christians. Lifting Up Christ.” We meet to build one another up and encourage one another to be rock solid representatives of Jesus Christ. Then and only then can we be effective in fulfilling the great commission:

There is no higher calling for a committed follower of Jesus Christ then to lead others to Him.

  
  Statement of Faith  
 
  1. Trusting Jesus as my Savior, I believe in:
  2. One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  3. God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
  4. The Deity of our Lord, Jesus Christ, God's only Son conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; His death for our sins through which we receive eternal life; His bodily resurrection and personal return.
  5. The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration. The Bible as the inspired Word of God.
